In this view, the concrete footing has been completely missed by the pier. This will have to be fixed.

This is why the surface runoff outside the home must be directed around the home and not under it. Eventually, this moving water will scour out the soil below parts of this footing, thus damaging its load-carrying capacity.

Good anchorage in longitudinal direction. Also, these have been cast in the concrete perimeter footing.

FHA requires the piers to be mortared. One way to practically do this is to apply a polypropylene fiber-reinforced masonry coating to the entire outer surface of the pier. (as shown here)
